Freeview in Weymouth

Prior to moving house 2 months ago, we had a huge amount of freeview channels via either our Panasonic Vieira tv or Panasonic Vieira dvd recorder.

Now we are in Weymouth with a much reduced amount of channels, plus when we are watching one of them, occasionally it slips for a second or two and in red along the bottom is "no signal", then the picture returns.

A neighbour has told me that Freeview has only recently been available in this area and that is why, does anyone know if this is right?

Does anyone think it could be an airiel problem?

Did you re tune the TV when you moved?

You may be getting your signal from a different transmitting mast.

Yes I did. In fact every time I switched the tv on, the window stating a new service had been found came on and I did a retune, sometimes three times each day, yet no new channels came, so I've turned that facility off

I would look to getting the aerial checked out.

Seems Weymouth has Freeview Lite.
