Tomato starting to form flowers

Folks
Tomatoes do not need cross-pollination, they are all self -fertile.
The only tomatoes that are normally able to cross pollinate are potato leaved varieties, some beeksteaks which produce double flowers and the currant varieties.
So any flowers on plants indoors are able to form tomatoes if they are not kept to dry (which tends to lead to flowers falling) or get too cold.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Oh, that's tough, more snow coming in May!
If you need to restart with smaller plants because of the space problems, the pinched out side-shoots root easily and you have a new 1-2 inch tomato plant.
Hope your weather improves soon!0 -
can i ask what dose pinch out mean? (sorry newbie)0

Basically you pinch (as in thumb and forefinger like pinching someone else) the tip, flower or shoot off the main plant0
