IKEA - What are my rights please and what chance an exchange?

Hi
Up until some months ago I used to work for IKEA.
Before I left (and in order to avail of my full staff discount of 15%) I decided to buy a new kitchen, even though this would be severely pushing my budget.
After a shift I returned to the store in customer mode, spoke about replacing my kitchen and asked for a quotation for wall cupboards.
For my room measurements I was quoted circa £450 and I purchased the items afterwards.
About 8 weeks later (after fitting the wall cupboards) I asked for a quote for base units in the same finish and was quoted circa £800.
This was too expensive so I resorted to cover panels and doors only (approx. £350) even though fitting these to old carcasses would be a bit of a patch job.
I now discover a complete kitchen (including base unit carcasses, excluding handles etc. and appliances – which I never intend to replace) in my chosen finish is less than £800 as advertised in the IKEA Kitchen’s catalogue.
I was never informed of this deal by either of the Sales folks I dealt with on my visits.
Although my Wall units are fine, essentially I have Base Unit Doors and Cover Panels for the price of complete carcasses i.e. I paid £800 and the complete kitchen (exclusions as above) is also the same price.
I haven’t opened my Doors/Cover Panels.
What are my rights please and what chance an exchange?
Any IKEA Managers post here ;-)
Regards

Do you know for a fact that the offer was available when you bought the items?0
-
You can ask for an exchange, but as none of the items are faulty you have no right to one. You really need to contact the store and ask the question.Gone ... or have I?0
-
you are at the mercy of the stores own policy I am afraid. That and the schindlers list they call a customer service queue.0

As I remember it unopened items can be returned up to 90days for full refund. Opened items only get 66% or similar amount back.(There's no mention about this online, but I do remember it instore)

ETA - I bought my kitchen from Ikea and I don't ever remember there being any "bulk buy" reduction that you seem to hint at by saying a complete kitchen costs £800 - less than all the items individually. Ikea kitchens usually are priced up on each individual carcass, door, handle etc
The only thing I can see that you might be confused about is the page of kitchens on pages 132-133 of the 2010 catalogue. the prices quoted there for the "complete kitchen" include only what's in the small kitchen on the top of the lefthand page, not your/mine/neighbour's kitchen.
It's only a game

Thanks for the replies so far.

No I didn't know the offer existed or I would have taken it up.:(
I'm well within the 90 days and the goods aren't opened so there's no problem with regards to a refund. However I'm seeking a base door panel exchange for the full carcasses/worktops or a refund and IKEA approval to buy the carcasses/worktops at the discounted price for the full kitchen.0 -

Sorry just read your comment above.
Is this definitely correct?0 -

Yes, I have the book in front of me. The display kitchen (top left) is Harlig* £349.
* says "What's included in the price?
Total price includes cabinets, worktops, interior fittings, hinges...Your choice of appliances [etc]... not included."
There is a line showing the size of the kitchen (280cm). And the other prices are for that size kitchen in different finishes.

If you click the tab at the top saying Price/style you will see, more or less, the contents of the page I was talking about in the paper catalogue. You only get the cupboards etc in the picture for the quoted price.
