Hi
I've just been made redundant at my work place, i've been workin' there for 10 years and 9 months, and as much as I hate to go in and claim for jobs seekers allowance and that (cuz i've never done that before) I was just wonderin' what benefits im entitled to if it comes to point where I have to claim.

I'm new to this but I guess you could start with an on-line check of benefit entitlement - it seems much depends on your savings and if you're single or part of a couple
As I'm a newbie I can't post with links but at the top of the page in the Step-by-step guides there's a 5 minute benefit checker
