McCarthy has hinted that there will be people moved on, & he needs to be careful not to damage the good spirit within the club. I think this means that some decent fringe players could go.

Disagree, aging squad with little/no resale value. Danns had agreed a deal with us & was in our staium having a medical. Took a phone call off blues on the table offering him £6k a week more. Asked us to match it. We told him to F off - obviously not committed to the club. Look at them - travelling wilburys. Too old, little no resale value. Contenders for major 2nd season syndrome if you ask me.

You are joking right? Manager who has consistently overacheived, steadied a ship, managed on the international scene, well thought of within the game with a proven track record of player development. Or big eck? No brainer. McCarthey is a better manager.
