So, who's striking today and who's listing as usual?

Anyone put the shutters up on their shop for the day?

It seems to have died a death on the unmoderated board I just had a quick look at.

Just in case anyone thought that ebay don't know what they are doing, I just read this:

    http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200608.shtml#2006-08-14095327

A cheap listing day (on Ebay.com and ebay.ca) for users who move their listings from an ebay shop to a standard auction.

As a special offer to our eBay Stores sellers on https://www.ebay.com and https://www.ebay.ca, we are holding a two-day promotion where your insertion fees will only be 10¢ when you move an item from Store Inventory format to auction-style or Fixed Price. In addition, you’ll also get free Gallery on these listings.

I take that to mean that they no longer want to encourage ebay shops, so we may yet find that our fees continue to go up and our visibility down until we go back to standard listings, or am I just being pessimistic today

It's under quite a lot of discussion on the ebay community boards... but the US moderators of the board have been censoring quite heavily. Even threads which ebay staff had contributed to have been removed.

    If you're talking about ebay's co.uk community board, no they haven't :)

Some threads remain, but several have been removed.

The UK boards are moderated by a US company, by the way.

  • Not been able to relist items since yesterday, wonder if this is why? If I relist them individually it works but if I try to do more than one it comes up with Error messages.
