Second hand luxury goods repair- what are my rights?

I use the term 'luxury goods' loosely but mostly refer to companies that take pride in their products. I'm a bargain hunter and use ebay and gumtree for most of my more expensive purchases. 2 eg which I'm currently wondering about and would appreciate an opinion.
- a top of the range stroller. It was working great for more than a year and then developed a problem which on research is apparently common enough but not to the extent that they had to recall the stroller. I wrote in and they offered to send a 'fix' for the problem. I know from research that they occasionally change the chassis and I'm thinking of asking for that. But what if they ask me to send it back to the place I bought it from? What are my rights for repairs etc if I bought it second hand? My other concern is that no one will buy it once they discover there's a problem (even if fixed)- I know what first time parents are like (like me!).
- a top range kitchen, brand new in a new development which the owners did not want. Owners then proceeded to buy same kitchen in different colour and different configuration- possibly costing them upwards of £30k. The broker involved gave me the name of the installer/stockist to contact as there are only a few all over London so every design is 'designed' and in their records.
Its a little smaller than we need and as we got it for a third only, we were quite happy supplementing with full priced items to make it work better and we also require eg end panels as our island will be floating as opposed to the original fitting which had one side to the wall. We now find that the original store won't work with us. All other branches tell us to go back to the initial store. As for as I'm concerned, they made their money back as initial owners put in the same brand. Its a German kitchen and I'm considering writing in to their head office as I'm so mad. Its not an insurmountable problem as our builders would be able to build around it so that's not really the issue but I just hate that they are so 'nose in the air' about this. Just because we bought it second hand.

The manufacturer have no responsibility to you. Take the offer of a fix

If the store don't wish to deal with you then they have that right, maybe its a problem for them obtaining separate parts. The fact that the other stores push you off onto the original store rather than offering to sell you the parts would imply it might be a hassle obtaining
Try the manufacturer to see if they will but as you have said the builder can work around it, don't get mad about it.
