help with car problem please???

I have a suzuki IGNIS auto & its developed a squeak. I feel a bit stupid taking it to a garage & just saying " its got a squeak", so I'd like aa bit of advice about what it could be. Firstly, the car is 5yrs old. I cant hear the squeak when I brake, its worse when I drive slow, but not particularly round corners ( well, its no worse than driving straight). When the driver side window is open, it sounds like its coming from that side, but with the passenger window open, its sounds like it on that side. My conclusion is that its somewhere in the middle. There are no steering, braking or other obvious problems, but I'm drving down south soon & this squeak will drive me nuts if I dont get it sorted.
Any ideas???

take it to a garage you trust

could be worn brakes/suspension get it looked at most garages wont think your silly
