    Hi All

Just a quick question if anyone knows the answer. I recently got my clubcard plus card and have started using it instead of my tesco credit card instore. How long does it take for the points to appear on the checker? According to my receipt I had 11 points for my 11.50 spend yesterday but they don't show up on the checker for that card yet. Also do the double points get added at the end as they didn't show on the receipt?

    Thanks

Tesco think they are so clever! Asda are doing those imperial leather showel gels for 75p anyway!

  • I worked 11 hours today to build up my flexi in the office and then on the way home decided to use my last £2.50 x 2 and £1.00 x 2 vouchers to get £20 of toiletries. Also got some reduced items and headed to a young chap who looked bored.

Firstly, he looked at my vouchers and say oh no I cannot accept these but I said I had bought nearly all of them, so he huffed and puffed and scanned them through apart from 3 x £1.00 quick read vouchers which he handed back. Anyway, he processed the card payment, pressed a wrong button and the supervisor was called over. She looked at my vouchers and said well I hope you bought them all and then told me to follow her to CS. they then had to process the whole transaction whilst they inspected my vouchers - thanks goodness I had only handed over 4 toiletry vouchers today although I was conscious they could have been refused as it is only one per transaction.

They were the most miserable bunch of cs people I have encountered and as soon as they put my vouchers through again I was off as quickly as poss. Did manage to get a free healthcare goodie bag with vibrating toothbrush !!

but had a close call today and will never go to that cashier again

Funny you should say that, Welshy, I too had a horrible voucher experience today, also involving a miserable checkout guy and unhelpful CS people who'd never in their lives heard of accepting vouchers for stuff you hadn't bought. They were also extremely funny about my H&B vouchers, but thankfully I only had a couple so they accepted them eventually.

(Did get an R&R off them though, so that helped cheer me up :D)

just another of one of my thoughts...... so dont shout at me.....

right there is a freeview box... which cost £29. something.. which has an offer on ...extra 500 club card points.... which in the long term ( if you do exchange points for deals.... 500 points = £20.00 ) ..

that means the freeview box would only cost you £9. something.. nice pressie for kids bedroom etc....

but also... another thought.... buy 2 ..... an extra 1000 points.. = £40.00 in deals... but then take them back for refund ... a hour later... and say.... yuor other half as allready bought them... or yuor have sky multi room thing instead......

when ever things are returned.... they never...take the club card points back.......i'm not saying that they will not.... but.....

    its worth a thought.....

i will find out the exact details tomorrow.... and post....
