I have a canon lbp3000 laser printer. Is there any way to tell how much toner is left. With the old inkjet you knew could see how much ink remained but with this it just suddenly goes very faint and that's it.

Was there an application that came with the driver on the CD? Often there is a control panel that installs for these things that will know ink levels.

Alternatively if it's a network printer browse to the ip address and there will be a control panel there e.g http: // 192.168.1.1

Sorry I can't be more help I don't have experience of canon lasers.....
