Nectar - Summer Of Rewards Scam

I've just redeemed thousands of Nectar points to receive (via courier today) a Panasonic Freeview Tuner.

It appears they are sending used (second hand items) out! The one I have just been sent has paint and plaster on the plug, the manual has greasy finger prints on it and the items were all rattling about loose in the box. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm fuming!

Have you contacted them to see what they say? Its probably a genuine mistake (which shouldnt have happened) and if you speak to them they should take the one you have been sent back and give you a new one.

Nectar are looking into it. I posted my comment to see if anyone else had experienced this. i.e. to see if it was isolated or not.

I have always found their customer service to be very good.When i was promised (a lot) of nectar points by one retailer,who subsequently changed their mind and became difficult,it was nectar to got the points credited for me.

Well here we are 1 month and three days. Nectar have sent me a replacment item and guess what it's yet another refurbished item with a sticker on the side saying tested!
