I just got a flyer through the door from an ebay drop shop.
They sell your items on ebay on your behalf.
Anyone any experience of these? Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Never used one but I think they take a commission from sales. Much better to do it yourself!spud30 wrote:I just got a flyer through the door from an ebay drop shop.

There is a thread with advice on the ebay board http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=239646
I find Amazon a lot easier than eBay in many ways - once you've registered you just put in the ISBN number of the book and choose a price - it will tell you what the book is listed as by others - I just choose a slightly lower price than the lowest! Amazon does the rest. There is no charge to list but higher commissions if you sell. Amazon deals with payments (including a postage charge) and credits you with your money after commission but with a postage credit. You can then have it paid to your bank account.
Important to find the right books though - some are listed at a penny - that kind I keep for eBay or the car boot. But more unusual books, text books, hardbacks - have made much more on Amazon than would've done on eBay even with commission etc.Highest Debt (July 06): £55117.79 Debt now: £52895.44 Debt Free Date: June 20100 -
Oh is it ok if I join in? I know it's half way through month but I really need to get this overdraft down and of course the credit card, to be honest I haven't even added on the tesco loan cos it would freak me out
Ok I'm going to list a few items now to include, clothes I haven't worn which still have tags on pre-DFW days, two pair of shoes, a baby monitor and anything else that isn't nailed down :rotfl:DFW Nerd no: 149
