I completely support StevieJ's request for votes to win a bet. There can be no better reason for voting. But voting out of democratic duty? Don't wind me up! This bunch of self serving career politicians don't deserve our votes.

This government have renegated on their manifesto (which included a vote on the EU Constitution). They have trampled over our rights to privacy, free speech and jury trials. They have prosecuted vexatious wars and opened our borders to floods of immigrants. All the time they were more concerned about their property portfolios and fiddling expenses.

If we withheld our votes, these self serving crooks might realise they have gone too far. I want it to be like in 'The Birds' where everything goes quiet and all the voters are sitting on telephone wires watching.

Favourite on betfair is now 70-75%, +75% is now only 5-1, so still in with a chance icon7.gif
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

Of all the possible election scenarios and outcomes, this has to be absolutely and utterly unique. Er, thanks, macaque. I think.
