    I'm not an electrician but I switched to a wireless one some years ago.

    I had someone do it though. You need a receiver installed/wired in (mine is in airing cupboard adjascent to pump and diverter), which I believe needs to wired to both those patts plus the boiler on/off control, plus in my case the hot water timer.

    Getting all that wired correctly requires, I suspect, above average electrical skills/knowledge.
