Ive got two bank accounts with Abbey, both opened on the same day with 5% interest, i try to keep upto £2500 in them both but strangely enough my one that i have the less of money in i recieve more interest in! Why is this when both accounts are the same, i went into the bank and asked them and they did not know either. I usualy credit the accounts with £1000 on about the 5th of the month give or take a day.

You seem to have quite a few variables there! Maybe that's a contributing factor?i try to...upto £2500...I usualy...on about the 5th..give or take a day.
Best way would be to calculate, and then sum up, all the individual days' interest based on daily closing cleared balances.
Dangerous move...if you're only 'officially' allowed one of these accounts. You could have spooked them into serving notice to close one of them.i went into the bank and asked them0
