Thanks everyone. We had a cuddle together (and both fell asleep) and I'm feeling a little better.
He's always had a mild heart murmur, and I think the vet is always a bit too keen to blame everything on that. The vet admitted that he probably wouldn't be as happy and healthy as he is if it was, but it's still a big concern.
Spain plans...well, they are okay. OH is worried about money, and my course isn't yet finalised as they want a £600 fee from Student Finance, and Student Finance don't want to pay it until I start in September. Still, that's trouble too. Money wise, I guess there is nothing I can do while I am holed up in bed, and its not looking like it'll improve anytime soon. I'm so fed up. Doctors on Monday, though.
HH, that sucks about your post. The 15 days annoys me too.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Hhh what a nightmare - all I can say is as soon as the 15 days are up ill put a claim in if it hasn't turned up by then :-(0

Oh dear - all these poorly puppies, people and children
Foster kitty went to be sterilised yesterday (she was tarting around like a complete slapper), and is now back home fine and happy (or will be after a restorative plate of tuna).
The Con-LibDem agreement still strikes me as very unsatisfactory. I'm no Tory fan, but Labour needed to go, and what we need now is a strong leadership, not squabbling among the ranks. I had expected Cameron to form a minority government, then call a November election, and strengthen his position by basically saying to the electorate, vote us in properly this time or have the same mess as before. It seems, though, that part of the deal is a fixed-term parliament. Now we have the prospect that if Cameron is at any point incapacitated, the de facto leader of the country will be a man whose party came third! It's a fiasco.0 -
no probs. thats what annoys me and i said it to them after 8 days surely items should have been delivered or classified as lost but they have no common sense. bloody paypal limiting my account as well mabel so everything going belly up at the moment for me.:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

Nixi, your poor little boy, it must be horrible for him having a cannula in, mine would be the same about it, we had floods of tears for his immunisations so really feel for him and you!
Saucy, really sorry about your dog too, poor thing. Isn't there anything you could be doing on the net, like DooYoo, while you're stuck in bed? Can't think of anything much else but all the info's on this site for stuff like that...
amber, you sound like my ex landlady, she used to call her cat a tart for going to anyone who'd stroke her lol!
DS's birthday today, he's got lots of Transformers to do my head in with, they come apart so easily and I never know how to transform the stupid things! He reminded me of your DS Jo, he drew me a picture of two frying pans with a sausage in and said I had to guess which was real and which fake - I guessed the one with the extra bit on the handle was fake - he said I was right and told me the extra bit was a 'budger' which you put butter in and it squirted into the pan to cook the sausages in, apparently! Love it
Well somehow this week, despite eating Cornettos and all sorts of rubbish, I've lost three pounds! I did drag the three year-old all down a big hill and all along the sea front one day but I can't fathom it, anyway that's 13 and a half pounds lost since I started (WW not dribblers challenge) so it can be done...:) hi to everyone, haven't caught up yet and will probably get chucked off the laptop in a minute by OH, big hugs to everyone especially those who need them xx xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Wow PaulaB, 13 and half pounds is fantastic, well done! I'm hoping to have lost at least a pound at WI tomorrow, but if I lose 2 I get my first star for 7lbs!! Yay!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0
