Morning all! I am knackered today as my DD (3) is really upset and scared after the events of the last few days and she won't sleep without cuddling me :( . Hopefully everything will settle down very soon!

Right off to have make some tea and toast - anyone want any?

Thanks for the oxfam link Poosmate - I might just need to have a sort out!!

Jo - that is a very deep mini move, not sure my brain is awake enough to think it through but I will be having a go later! (P.S I am glad you aren't going anywhere, and that by having DC as PM things are a bit easier for your family.!)

Was it me or has DC already aged since the election? Those late nights and the pressures and responsibility look they are already getting to him already! and when is his new baby due to???

Laura - look after yourself, and enjoy your singledom!

DS - seems a little better again today, though the antibiotics are not having a good effect on his toilet habits....... :(

(NLID - meant to say yesterday, thank you for your email!) everyone's support and concern is much appreciated!

Jo - wierd, but think of it as an inhouse babysitter! Stuck in waiting for bits to be delivered too, an engine and a new net hauler. Why he is havingthem delivered here I don't know, they are coming on pallets and they don't fit through the front gate and are too heavy to lift, so they will only be sat on the pavement until he comes and gets them with the van. Men

Elly - my OH moans about the dribbling too, but hey, he is just jealous! Hope the unpacking/cleaning is going well.

Asked yesterday, but will ask again, don't suppose anyone has a copy of the EBay Paypal fees spreadsheets they can email to me?

haha, thats how my day is going to go! Typed out a reply half hour ago, just realised I never hit the submit button! oops!

Good morning lovely peoples! Well, it's a nice day here now, the sun is shining and it's glorious. An hour ago it was snowing!!

So glad to hear that DS seems to be on the mend Nixi, your poor DD will be feeling a bit out of sorts I'm sure, but once things settle down they'll both be back to normal! Did you get the all-clear call yet (I may have missed it, sorry).

Mabel, if I were in your shoes I wouldn't be able to resist playing!! My DS has a new Blackberry (can't remember the model but may be the same one) and gave his 'old' (had it for 5 months!!!) one to his sister. I've been toying with the idea of a new one, and then upgrade to include internet browsing, but I'm a) not sure how much I'll use it and b) there is really nothing wrong with the phone I have (filched from the ex when he got an upgrade two years ago haha!). Someone persuade me it's not worthwhile..... :D (Mabel, I've been feeling bad, will pm you now.)

Jo, although it may be weird, I think you'll enjoy having your mum close to hand. Mine lives a 2 minute walk away, which as much as I love her, is plenty close enough!! :rotfl:

Hello to everyone else *wave* - don't feel left out if you didn't get a 'special' mention, but I'm at work and sneaking after not making it on last night! I was far too busy hooking for Scotland!! So nice to have my hobby back and I've been hooking up a a storm since!

Hi Everyone - just a quicky as I'm at work!
Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can sell a load of classical CDs? Musicmagpie don't seem to do classical - tried entering a few barcodes and nothing came up. I've listed around 30 on Amazon - just to test the water, no interest in 2 weeks. Trouble is there around 400 of them - and we need to sell them (from FIL's estate) to help settle some outstanding bills etc. They're are all barely played by the look of them.
    Any ideas gratefully received!

Mrs Money, I haven't even looked at the site other than to check that they do buy, but might be worth looking at www.classicalcdexchange.co.uk - they do buy and sell classical cd's.

Hmm that may have been a bit of a bum steer Mrs M, sorry, on closer inspection I can't see any linky on that site for selling cd's....

ETA: Priceminster have a section for selling classical, but I've never dealt with them and don't know what their fees/traffic are like if you're in a hurry. I have a feeling, if I recall correctly, that you don't 'do' eBay, but it might be worth putting a listing on as a job lot and a set price and see how it goes? Someone out there may well want them to sell on!
