Its not that exciting MM and a bit twee but no money means needs must.lol
8th anniversary is either bronze or pottery. so although its not strictly pottery I have made a flat heart shape out of mixed together fimo colours and then turned the edges up to make a little dish/tray that is just big enough for a tealight. which I have put in and then wrapped in red cellophane and tied with ribbon. Its in oranges reds and purples which are colours he likes
Also clearing the kitchen table 5 mins at a time so we can sit there for dinner. and decorating the bare plaster wall next to it with lots of different sizes of cut out red hearts to make it a bit more colourful.

edit DH is well in touch with his feminine side and a hippy at heart so candle will be something he likes but maybe a bit girly for most men.lol

Awww thats really sweet Jo-loving the idea..although my OH would just say..ere..whats this then..why do I need a candle..has the leccy been turned off!

hehehe MM. DH was the one who crocheted hats and blankets for the kids when they were born and is the one out of us who has a sewing kit etc. although he's very gadgety and into science and electronics and more "masculine" stuff too. lol

Hi everyone

spent ages thinking how Im going to word this post without sounding like Im looking for sympathy
Thing is, I feel like I bring the mood of the thread down,I always post a moan or gripe and rarely feel upbeat, Im not in a good place at the minute, dont know if its depression,I think its just Ive had to much to cope with over the last decade my lifes been full of drama and upset,Ive fallen out with OH and he said he wants me to not be here with him

I dont think I will post again at the moment, I dont want to make everyone else miserable
Im not doing a cally, I think your all great, and Im not offended by merkins, just Im feeling very distressed and dont want to keep bringing the enthusiasm of the thread down

Good luck to everyone and hopefully if things improve I will come back on

Oooiiiiiii!!!!! dont you dare disappear...tell us about it hun we are here for you..most of us have needed help on here at one time or another including myself so make yourself a cuppa and tell us about it...if you dont want to post then PM but dont go away coz we will only worry about you and thats worse :-(

And I would recommend seeing your doctor because it could be depression hun and it can be sorted.

Hey evenstar don't go away hun. we miss you when you are not here. you don't bring us down. you've got loads on your plate and it sounds like its just got worse again. we care about you and don't want to lose touch with you.
