Child Benefit...

Hi.
I am a bit stumped with the child benefit payments i am getting. According to the website i should be getting £20.30 for the first child then £13.40 for each child after that.
I have 3 children. By my calculations that should be £47.10 a week. I am paid monthly a sum of £185.60 give or take a pound or two. Now if my math is correct 52 weeks x £47.10 = £2449.20. Now if you divide that by 12 months i make it £204.10.
Have i been getting underpaid..? This is taken from the table on the child benefit website.
How much do you get?
The amount of Child Benefit you'll get depends on how many children you're entitled to get Child Benefit for, and the current rates of Child Benefit.
When you start getting Child Benefit you'll get paid at the rates for the current year. The amount you receive usually goes up in April each year.
The rates are as follows:
Who the allowance is for
Current weekly amount
Eldest or only child
£20.30
Additional children - per child
£13.40
Guardian's Allowance - per child
£14.30

CB uis usually paid every 4 weeks0

If Child Benefit is paid every 4 weeks, the calculation should be:-
£47.10 x 52 Then Divide by 13. This is because 4 weekly payments total 13 payments in a year.
This gives £188.40 which is more or less what the OP thinks they are receiving.
