yep the initial offer looks good - longer term though I think those with the older tesco credit cards (1pt for £2 spend anywhere on top of normal pts at tesco) give better value:
£500 spend gives 60 miles ( or 80 if lucky enough to have registered for the special deal some time back :-) )
More importantly though so long as do transfer to miles manually you can keep oftions open for other rewards , just transfer to miles as and when needed

"If you apply via Airmiles.co.uk you'll get a different offer: the long-standing 1,500-mile voucher when you spend £10, though you must also book a hotel via Airmiles to use the bonus. New Lloyds offer
So, if you apply via Lloyds:
    • Spending £750 in the first three months, rather than the usual £7,500, gets you a free return trip to Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris or destination of similar distance to the UK.
    • Spending £1,500 in the first three months, rather than the usual £15,000, gets you a free return trip to Barcelona, Rome, Madrid or destination of similar distance."
Could I just point out that if you apply for the card via Airmiles.co.uk, you actually get 2 free flights to a zone 1 destination.
