river island

hi ,
on 1st may i bought some leggings from river island i have worn them once today and have noticed that the stitching has come away would i be entitled to a refund as today is only the 5th may and have only worn them once thanks

    You will be entitled to a refund if they are faulty. They certainly don't sound like they were fit for purpose if they only lasted one wear. Take them back, they will probably try to exchange but they should provide a full refund if you want.

    Take them back to the store with your receipt or other proof of purchase. It is possible they are faulty and the store will either refund or replace in that case.

    If you ever have problems again google consumer direct but

    ALWAYS SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS

    I just have an envelope, with the year on and stuff them in there. Every so often I sling the lot (after a year who cares) although 'large purchase' receipts are saved separately. It just saves hassle down the line if a fault subsequently develops.

    i do the same Valli, but with the big items I always keep the boxes and put the receipts inside the box, then put the box in the garage or the loft. Then i can go straight to them.
    Couple of years on, out they go.
