What sort of amount should I be budgeting?

Morning all, I'm shortly to move into a new-build 1 bedroom flat, it's on Economy 7 electricity with no gas supply, I'll be a single occupier who is moderately conscious of energy conservation (not leaving lights on in unused rooms, not leaving things on standby etc) ... I will be using the hob or oven for half an hour to an hour a day, spending about half my evenings in the flat, having the telly on quite a lot, running a fridge freezer, and running the washing machine about 3 times a week (and the dryer probably once, maybe twice) ... I don't yet know which leccy supplier the building is on at the moment, but I won't be looking to swap until price rises have settled ... Can anybody who lives in a similar property with a similar lifestyle give me a rough ballpark figure of what sort of monthly outgoings I might be looking at? Thanks :D Rzl xx

http://www.simplyswitch.com/energy-consumption.html estimates that a one bedroom prop will consume 10000kWh or gas and 2500 of electricity. I know you have only electricity but, and I am subject to correction the aggregate of those two figures could be a starting point for you. I'd also suggest that apart from you persnoal life style the state of the whole property insulatin wise could have a bearing on the outcome for you.

Now awaiting flak from those with personal knowledge of living in flatland.
