What Credit Card??

in Credit cards
This is not an area of expertise, as far as I am concerned, and would therefore welcome some advice....
A family member is going on a cruise in the summer and, with such holidays, there is a preference for customers to have a Credit Card - (Preference but appreciate not totally essential).
My family member is over 60 years old. Owns their own home (Mortgage Fully Paid) worth £200k and has no requirement to work.
They are self sufficient, financially, and therefore have no real form of monthly income (apart from £400 widows pension) but do have extensive savings. Apart from a mortgage (Many Years Ago - 10+) they have not had credit facilities. They are from the "I deal in cash" school of thought...
I have seen that some cards require a minimal annual salary of £10,000 per year (including their own bank) - and therefore question would they qualify?
The aim of the card is simply to pay for purchases and clear the card upon receipt of the statement. No Balance Transfer needed.
Could someone point me in the direction of a card that would probably suffice.
Thanks in advance

Won't a VISA debit card work just the same? Pretty sure someone at her bank would be able to sort one out."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0

Needs to be a Credit Card im afraid - but thanks.
Ideally also needs to be one that I can sort out for them online - as they get flustered easily with paperwork!I have dealt with Motor & Personal Injury Claims for 20 years.

Pre paid Cashplus http://www.mycashplus.co.uk/ and the annual £29.99 option is one idea but another is just to apply at their bank or anywhere.
They can lie about their income as no-one knows, certainly not the credit reference agencies. Don't put £1m a year but if you stuck down £25k or £50k a year then no-one would ever know.
Go to Barclaycard and perhaps Nationwide as they have a soft search here https://letmechoose.barclaycard.co.uk/0 -

You've never heard of N Hunter or application fraud and you don't think that a 60+ year old might be asked for proof of income if they put in £50k?
If you're being serious then this is easily one of the stupidest pieces of advice I've read in a long time."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
