I don't understand the post, sorry.

Did you pay the £80? Was the alternative to this £40 per month? For how long?

    What should they refund you?

My gist of what you have written is that you are in debt and are now unemployed You have entered into a debt management plan with a company who have charged you for the privilege !

I would suggest you have a trip down to your local CAB as they have specific debt advisers and do tend to get good results and they don't charge

  • Never pay money to a debt company who charge you for dealing with it. A lot of creditors will not accept your proposals because you are paying for it.

Re post on the debt board with all your incoming s and outgoings, it's surprising what you can get rid of so you have more money to pay your debts. Also contact either The consumer Credit counselling service or National Debt line. They are free charities that will sort out your debts for you and they will not charge you for the privilege. They will also pay the debts for you on your behalf if you pay them one lump sum each month.

Your creditors will listen to either of these charities as allot of loan company's etc. pay towards keeping them going.

Also don't phone creditors to write to them by letter and always post recorded delivery then you have a paper trail, what it said on the phone can later be denied.

You can also contact CAB for the same advice but you will have to pay the creditors yourself, but still worthwhile.

    Good luck :)
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
