Hi, Hoping someone can help me out with how Kaspersky works. I have Kaspersky internet security 2009 on my pc. I (stupidly) clicked an untrusted link on a website last night and to be on the safe side I ran a kaspersky scan but I'm having problems with it.
I ran kaspersky for updates and then disconnected from the internet then did a scan, kaspersky found several active threats some of which I deleted as prompted, others required me to "neutralise" them which I did.
The problem is when I click on "detected" it brings up 4 items all with a yellow exclamation mark next to them and classed as "very dangerous" I presumed that once kaspersky had detected them then I would be safe.
I have now run several kaspersky scans and it detects the same threats and still requires me to neutralise which I do but it doesnt seem to be getting rid of the problems as everytime the scan runs it just keeps flashing red "security risk" at me. I'm now scared to run the pc
Hope this rambled post makes sense to someone who can help me as I am completely non techie

I'm sure a proper techie will reply soon, but what I'd do is google the threats and research their removal. If you can use a different computer to search meanwhile that would be a good idea.IAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0

Dont panic
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log):idea:0 -

Try my link. Malwarebytes does NOT charge so youve not downloaded malwarebytes (there IS a pay for version, but only if you select it):idea:0
