How stupid are these people, the country is going bust so they cause thousands of pounds worth of damage to public property.

Forget teargas, should have just opened up with machineguns.

When people are angry rationality goes out the window.

I have zero sympathy for the Greeks. They want to live outside their means and expect others to foot the bill - I hope the German parliament rejects the bail out and the Greeks sink deeper into the soft, brown, malodorous stuff.

    From the BBC:

"Why are Greek people so angry? From the outside, it looks like a spendthrift country getting what it deserves in painful cuts to public spending.

At street level, however, the anger stems from a sense of injustice. Many feel that the average citizen is now paying the price for corruption and government spending that they did not benefit from."
"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.

Really? Do you want the Greeks to experience what happened in Yugoslavia in the 1990s? Firearms should always be used as a last resort by law enforcers.
