I got one a few weeks ago from House of Fraser for £25 cos i'm going london from september for uni, and I find the water down there unbearable.

6 months supply of cartridges is £25 on its own, so to get the jug aswell is indeed a bargain!

Only if you buy the overpriced Brita ones. Think moneysaving rather than brand victim

Realised we used to have one somewhere. Got home, pulled it out, washed it and verfied it crack free (Damn...). Bought 6 months worth of cartridges for £9.

Bah, curse my moneysaving mind. Though I do have to lift the lid each time I fill it...
