Do you have to collect your luggage at LHR and then re-check it in for the Heathrow to Glasgow part of your journey? If so then it will probably be Heathrow if not then it will be at Glasgow. Do you have to change terminals at LHR? Heathrow to Glasgow might be treated at a domestic flight rather than part of your whole trip.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

socks-uk,
Iwas told we won't collect our luggage till Glasgow. Both flights terminal 5.Yes I thought Lhr-Glas would be a domestic flight so not sure how that will work.0 -
You personally will pass through immigration and customs at LHR. Your luggage, if it is checked through, will go through customs at GLA. It will be marked so that they can tell it needs checking0

On our recent flights to LAX via Toronto we had to collect our baggage both ways and at check-in in both LHR and LAX we was told it would go straight through. We even had the bright orange 'In Transit' labels on them. But we had to pick up our bags and then re-deposit them. It's a good job we checked cos they'd still be going round on the carousel now!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
