Hi Thier i would like some advice please, i had virgin broadband which i cancelled in april/may 2009 and i didnt notice until this month that they have still been taking payment out of my account every month,
Can somebody tell me what is the best procedure to follow this up

    Call them and ask why you are still being billed when you are not with them and ask for a refund. If its paid by DD cancel it asap :)

    - did you state a specific date , example 18th ?
    - - did they agree a specific date , example the 18th ?

    - there is a a 30 day period from the day you make your cancellation !

    Virmin are notorious for accidently keeping their income stream

    - you can protect yourself by sending a letter [ not e-mail ] to Virgin at:

    Virgin Media,
    PO Box 333,
    Matrix Court,
    Swansea.
    SA7 9ZJ

    this way you get a snail mail letter back [ evidence ] that you can if needed show to OFCOM

    - a~n~other option is to look up where Virgin do not have cable laid and tell them you are moving on such a date to a post code that they don't supply - that'll work !
