  • Morning all!

2nd Day at work for me - working for OH though not sure if this is better or worse than a 'regular' job!!??

Things that make it better - 1. work at home 2. on computer in my own office so can go on here secretly! 3. have dogs with me all day 4. can save on going to work related expenses such as car/lunch/etc!

Things that make it worse - 1. OH thinks that making him a bacon butty is part of my job description 2. OH runs 4/5 small businesses some doing well others not so it can be v.v. stressful 3. have dogs with me all day who insist on barking every time a leaf passes by the bloody window!:rotfl:Not great when your trying to negotiate with the bloody business rates people for example!!

    Ok...... back to the list!

    1. NSD
    2. All meals from stores including last of the cupcakes for the elevenses in a minute!
    3. Go to PO and pay my cc bill
    4. Drop off sorted clothes from weekend at Charity Shop.
    5. Keep watching ebay item now got 6 bids 19 watchers - exciting even tho my bids are only at £3.20 - who cares!?
    6. Got 10 people who looked at the car we have on tinternet last night - fingers crossed someone will come and buy it!!
    7. Work on my new business plan and think of how I'm going to come up with roughly £15k I need to raise myself before can approach a bank for a loan!!:eek::eek:

    Hey ladies and Joe_purdy!

I'm posting from work because my internet at home is playing up and keeps dropping for no apparent reason and then takes a half hour to work again! V frustrating. Some sites I can't check from work so hoping to get it fixed asap.

Hopefully tonight i'll be able to:
    • Check banking :o Not as bad as I thought but still...
    • Check ebay sale - was at £5.75 yesterday and it was sumat I got for free!!! :)£7!
    • Remember to check/cancel experian subscription Will cancel next week.
    • Remember to check pigsback to see if my phone points have been added nope
    • Go flylady style around the whole flat and have it spic and span! OH did the kitchen before I got home :)
    • Do some voluntary stuff - might stay in work to do this rather than doing it at home where there are more distractions! Argh, stuff was in a cupboard I didn't have a key for! Must do this tomorrow instead.
    • Update spending diary and download/save/scrutinise April's diary Spent over £200 less than in March, not looking as promising for May! Boo.
    Today I've also:
    • Brought leftovers in for lunch
    • Having more leftovers for dinner
    • Emailed a friend so i don't need to phone
    • Spotted 1p that is destined for the jar
    • Enjoyed 2 x free tea at work
    xx

PS - does anyone know how to get rid of an old lamp? It's just the base with no plug or lightbulb...assuming I can't just chuck this in the wheelie???

    Also managed an NSD today.

Hi folks , day off for me today, have been v busy at work so am v tired , stayed in bed till 11am :o

On the bright side am currently feeling a bit more secure in my job although the election is very likely to change that. Yesterday at an operational meeting I agreed extra responsibilities and was supportive to my boss ( its not her fault that we are under pressure) so hopefully when the job restructure comes i stand a chance :(

Today I am going to chill, so smallish list for today :
    • check banks - not great
    • pay electric bill and set up dd - going to pay less than i used to as i was always in credit and its better in my pocket now.
    • meals from stores / plan
    • surveys
    • competitions
    • nsd - staying in indoor clothes so not tempted to buy a bottle of wine (have some aldi brandy alexander left over from winter )
    • recieved a jordons fruselli bar in post from freebies board and that will do for my next breakfast at work.
Have finally decided who I am going to vote for and it feels like a weight off my shoulders :)
