I can receive mail no problem but cannot send and get the following message.
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Re: RSVP REQUESTED', Account: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Server: 'smpt.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
This has never happened before today and no changes have been made to my computer.
If I try to send an email it then goes to my out box. Whilst it is in there I cannot receive or send but when I delete it I can then receive but still not send.
Hope this makes sense to someone!
Anyone got any ideas how to solve the problem.
Thanks

Might be just a temporary server problem. Just wait and try it again later (maybe tomorrow morning).0 -

Though from memory the 0x800CCC0F is usually a temporary mail server problem.0 -

I'd work my way through the results from this Google search for that error code, filtering out all the stuff that clearly does not apply to your situation. Windows Live Mail is somewhere inbetween Outlook Express and Outlook in facilities, but is newer than both of them.
If all else fails, try contacting your ISP's Technical Support. This may or may not be fruitful...0 -
I have already spent all day doing all this and have now contacted talktalk. Will just have to wait for a reply. So frustrating but thanks for your input.yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present0
