Please don't take this the wrong way, but have you tried different batteries? and non-rechargable ones? Rechargable batteries aren't always suitable for cameras.

Lithium / Lithium-ion batteries are usually recommended for digital cameras, rather than standard Nickel-Cadmium or Alkaline batteries:

Love Doritos but Michelle Mcmanus used to have a 12/night habit  http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/tv/general/Michelle+McManus-5962.html
Also agree with Jayhab about the camera - digital cameras are notoriously power hungry. Unless its clearly faulty it's not up to Doritos to do anything. Try contacting the manufacturer for advice.0 -

Have you actually tried Lithium / Lithium-ion batteries though?
One of the guides I linked to specifically mentions that standard batteries can be drained just by switching on and switching off the camera several times - let alone actually taking photos!
As DawnChorus says, If it really is faulty, I'd contact Fuji customer services - Doritos won't want to know and Play customer services aren't really worth bothering with either IMHO!0 -

^Same problem.
I looked back through the thread and there have been similar problems, I think it's just a case of waiting until they've fixed it.0
