Part of the Furniture 500 Posts Combo Breaker
I've owned crosstrainers for years, and had one in my old top floor flat for about a year. Never had a complaint from the neighbour below, but I was concerned about this too and put some old carpet, then a rubber floor protector (which I got free with the machine) under it. It made next to no noise or vibrations.

Someone above mentioned Kettler and I can't recommend them highly enough. Every crosstrainer I've owned (4 by different makes all under £300) breaks within months as I use them daily and the welds on the joints just snap, or bolts shear through, belts break etc.

The Kettler does too (it's their £300 basic model, and the only one not made in Germany which may explain it). However, their customer care is fantastic. I've had the machine for nearly 4 years now, so out of warranty, yet a quick email with a pic of the broken part and it's a case of 'no bother, we'll send one to you'. Just received one this week. Superb.

Will buy a proper Kettler (£700+) next time for that fabled German build quality ;-)

Hi i have just purchased a second hand Reebok premier cross trainer (REO-10211)from a private seller and it is amazing:).
It cost me £150 and was an absolute bargain(i think they are about £500 new),it has all the basic functions as well as 8 pre programmed training levels on.
Just saw that there are 3 for sale on ebay this week, have a look, you wont be dissapointed!!!!!!!

I have one of these all of the welds have failed at the front of the machine and I am currently waiting for a reply from Reebok.
at the moment i could not reccomend the machine.this should never have happened.
