Help
My 08 corsa broke down late march , repairs were covered by warranty and the dealer repaired no quibble.
Problem was i didnt have recovery , so had to get a local firm out . cost me £105..
I wrote to vauxhall asking them to pay this, also for the upset and distress it caused , being stuck on a busy road.
They replied and said its in my warranty they only cover recovery in first 12 months , thereafter its upto me. also they did apologise for my distress
Queston is what next , do i have any recourse ?
Thanks in advance

I would imagine it is your responsibilty to have breakdown cover, the cover they offer you in the first 12 months is very basic. You should look at autoaid who offer a good cover for a reasonable fee.0

Unfortunatly, it is stated in your terms and conditions. There is many a company that offer this service so sadly if you chose not to take it out, then why should Vauxhall pay?Learning to be 'good with money'0

Thanks both , I kinda thought that would be the response . I was annoyed that my car should break down in the first place after such a short time,
lesson to the wise i guess , the letter was worth the stamp even to get an apology
I will check out the autoaid suggestion
Ta muchly

Guess you've answered your own question. You did not have recovery, on the hope you did not need it. You had to be recovered, a risk you took.0
