Got a phone call from a person in a branch of Santander, claiming that there was a fixed rates bonds at 4.5%. I found that strange, since no-one has told me about that. And I recently did look at their rates in bonds savings

correct it is a 1 year super bond, however whatever you put into the bond you have to put into a qualifying investment which is 3 3/4yrs or more.0
