I noticed on my bank statement that the last incap payment and the last DLA payment had increased slightly.
Should I ring up and query this, or has the benefits increased.
thank you

DLA increases every April (- can't remember this years rates off the top of my head) so I'm guessing incapacity is the same.
Edit - here you go.

Thanks for the pdf elsien
The DLA increase seems to co-incide with what is on the pdf
I seem to be getting £2.20 more a fortnight for the incapity benefit - is this right? I cannot work it out from the pdf.0 -
Looks like IB rates vary depending on your age, and whether it's a short or long term award.
The long term rate is an extra 1.60 a week
The short term lower rate (under pension age) is £1.20 pw and the higher rate is £1.45 pw.
Hope that helps. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Each April when the tax year begins, benefit rates are increased to match inflation (as are many peoples salaries and often things like council tax bills).
The rates for IB are now complicated by the fact that people currently in receipt of IB with age additions (basically bonus' for becoming disabled at a young age) receive more than the new ESA rate so their payments are being slowly reduced to line up for the change over.
You are supposed to have received letters (usually around March) that tell you when the payment dates change and the new amounts.0
