I was advised on this thread that if I were one of the many unfit for work people being kicked off sickness benefit before I was fit, due to government cuts, I would not receive any JSA due to my £400 a month pension income.
I spoke to the citizens advice bureau today on some other issues and the advisor saw that I had asked a question previously on this, but it had not been answered.
My income support mortgage relief was stopped when i got my pension, because at the time I had more savings than I now have. I told her I had been advised that I was not entitled to any JSA money should the worst happen.
She told me that now my savings have decreased I should be entitiled to help with interest payments on my mortgage.
I also checked on entitledto.co.uk and they said that I should be entitled to help with interest payments on my mortgage.
Now I am confused, please can someone help?
Thanks
