Strange letter from bank: Scam?
Comments

Yeah i work for a bank - due to the bank not always having window envelopes - have to write on the envelopes and then frank them
But then this would be paperwork from me after seeing customer - so they already know me0 -
I used to work in Barclays. Majority of letters are sent out 'centrally', but those that were done 'locally', in the Branch could have been sent out in an handwritten envelope because of the size/nature of it's enclosure(s). Also, not forgetting, at times the right sized window envelope may not be at hand.0
