    Don't really think you'll get more than a penny for it, unless its a special magical penny your selling :think:

    Avoid them like the plague as something for 1p must be dodgy lol!

    If you mean starting auctions at 1p, then it actually works very well on high value items, but not for those sellers of a nervous disposition!

    I recently sold a boxed Nokia N96 after getting an upgrade - started the bidding at 1p with no reserve, and with one day left it was only at £30, but 60 watchers, and it ending up selling for about £15 more than most others.

    If you mean the reverse bid auctions, where you pay per bid in the vain hope of being the unique lowest bidder, then you are doing nothing more than gambling at best or paying a tax on stupidity at worst.
