We are not actually GGUK, but look after the Guide Hall for our local guides. Everyone seems happy with the way we operate, and the only external transfer we make is to pay the insurance on the building. I could send a cheque with 2 signatures, but FPs are so much easier, and save the postage cost.
Accounts are audited annually and submitted to our County Treasurer, all large spends have to be cleared by our County too. If there was a problem then I am sure someone would have said something.0
