They'll likely ask you to walk X amount, see how you do it, if you appear to be in pain etc.0

Is it for the dla or for the bluebadge, that if you go to them, your automatically 'disqualified' so to speak?!No one said it was gonna be easy!0

I don't understand what you're asking, sorry! You're automatically entitled to a blue badge if you get Higher rate mobility if you're applying for it for moblility purposes0

OT's are nice people, give great advice and will be able to confirm to the council that you fulfill the requirements for issue of a blue badge.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I went for an OT assessment to get a BB. I have great difficulty walking I walk with a stick. I was refused a blue badge in the OT's opinion she did not think I walked bad enough to have the BB. However the week after she refused I was awarded DLA HRM and MRC so I got my blue badge anyway.0

Not had a great experience with ot's, the same group of people flat refused my mum who has muscular dystrophy & shattered spine from muscle wasting not being diagnosed over the years, again she got the dla so they had no say, not looking forward to dealing with them
