Just wondering if anyone has much experience with any. I am looking at buying one which has 163 g/m2 paper weight limit.
Printer in question is Epson acu laser M1200, so question is does anyone know if this printer will take a higher weight card, like 250 g/m2. Looking to print off cards.
Thanks

Even the old HP LaserJet 4 workhorses could take nothing thicker than 200 gsm without unhappiness occurring. I think you may have quite some difficulty finding a printer which would happily feed 250 gsm card.
BTW Where on earth do you obtain 163 gsm paper?0

The main problem is transferring the electrostatic charge through the card itself to attract the toner and hence the image. The lower the charge the less dense the image. Then find a straight feed paper path for the card(board). Thick card does not bend either. You might need offset printing for the cards.0

            Exactly there isnt 163gsm card.
You can get a Laser printer for upto 500 gsm card, Xante Ilumina Digital Color Press. But at nearly £7,000 it is a bit out of my price rangeMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
