Just because you run a business you don't actually need a 'business' account. If you do decide to go down that route make sure you get one that is offering free banking for a year, otherwise keep your money in a separate personal account. As long as you can show where everything comes from and goes to it doesn't matter. HTH

The one I have is free business banking with cheque book and debit card, :) Makes it easier keeping everything seperate

When you know what's what with the Linkedin thingy, I'd love to point OH & DD in the right direction. I'm not technical or in employment either but I think it would be useful for them.

Sadly I feel like I can be no help to anybody on this thread :o (Unless you want a place to stay in Jo'burg?) So haven't applied to join the Matrix :(

I'm not sure how the matrix works either but I think sometimes people will just want advice rather than practical help.

What I'm saying to people who visit us is:
You will have space in your luggage which will be filled with wooden animals when you return (it always is :rotfl:) please ask around of any nephews/sons/cousins/grandsons etc for their old football strips. These are made of nasty indestructable nylon fabric (so chavvy darling :rotfl::rotfl:) and so look good forever. The football fans (about 100% of people here) among the children in the orphanage that I help out in would be chuffed to bits to accept them. :D

If you fancy it pm me and we could meet up :D

Matrix people might be able to send you football jerseys. I don't have any but if I did I could easily post them, they are light so wouldn't cost much.

@MG will people in the matrix be getting e-mails? I'm slightly confused about how all of this works.

Hope the broadband guy isn't making too much of a mess running cables through the house.

we all have skills hon :D

basically its a group of people networking together to help everybody achieve their dream life. I hope that we will be able to concentrate on a couple of people at a time and really help them fast-track their journey and connect them with the people they need to achieve whatever they desire.

like what happened with claire - lots of people chipping in a few minutes of their time has seriously transformed her business.

    Wanna play?????

    PM me your email address

    mG

    Transformed it?????????

Its gone blooming bonkers!! I now have about 30 pairs of earrings to make!!! I'm getting myself in a bit of a pickle trying to sort orders out :)

I went to the local computer shop on the way home today and got 20 sheets of the flyers printed (thats 80 flyers) aqm going to approach the local hairdressers and beauty salons and ask if they will hand them out for me.

But I need to get the earring orders out the way first, them I will hand them out.

That is a good plan Claire, you don't want to start off behind if you see what I mean. Is it worth making a few extras of the earrings as well so that as orders come in (once you issue the flyers) you have a stock and can post them out immediately. That will get you repeat business as I am always impressed by quick delivery.

    I tried that :D. Didn't work :rotfl:

Ah, so the real reason behind all this is revealed :rotfl:. Hmmmmmm, does he do corporate events, awards etc? You might just accidentally bump into him one of these days. (I bumped into Jarvis Cocker the other week so you never know).

Just to get in on the act I almost went to David Essex's wedding last week but didn't have a babysitter  OH went but I have been out for drinks with him shame about the hair but the eyes are still lovely :rotfl:
