  • Back again – not sure how big the posts are allowed to be so thought I’d better chunk it up.

So they all come into the bar and sit down at the table –and the third guy came across and shook my hand and said “nothing I could do was going to compete with fun and laughter I heard coming from the room – congratulations!!!. I hope you have a really great year”

………….. and then he shakes everybody else’s hand, picks up his briefcase and leaves!!!!!!

MG – pretty damn stunned at this point – because I am literally the last man standing.

The group then explain that they are Mr Big’s mastermind group here in the UK and that every year they take on a new person to be mentored in taking their business to new levels. What they don’t do – is do it for you, but they work alongside you in an advisory capacity and use their networks to connect you to the people to teach you stuff you are missing when the need arises IYSWIM?

And the programme starts tonight and runs for twelve months – if I’m interested????????

    ???????????????not???????????????? lol

And as a personal favour from Mr Big –and to help the other 20 people who will be coming to share the dinner, would I possibly consider launching the evening by giving the keynote again???

    So I do – natch!!!

And I get the second standing ovation of the day (beginning to get a big head by this point) and then had the most fabulous dinner of:

    Hand dived scallops
    Salmon done three ways
Cranachan mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (but no wedding ring – I did check)

We were all sat at a u-shaped table so that we could all eat and talk – and the main topic of conversation was “ME” – bit un-nerving. There was a huge interactive whiteboard in the room and anytime someone had an idea that they needed to capture his PA would write it on the board, develop the idea and then move on to a clean “page” – gonna have to teach the girlie to Mindmap - lol

25 people brainstorming my business – and I got presented with a data-stick on the way out with all the ideas copied onto it – HOOORRRRAAAAYYYYY!!!!!

At the very end of the evening a friend of mine – a memory expert arrived to drive me home (the same one who made the original connection with Mr B’s PA) – so yesterday after my school morning was spent pulling apart the data-stick notes and coming up with a rough plan.

So now there is a rota in place that means everyday I am contacted by one of the group – by phone just now – but by skype when technology starts to play ball.

365 days to build my business – and I am in turn happy, elated, terrified and scared stiff.

So give me the afternoon to regroup and I will be back making some kind of sense.

ps i have copied my pms over - so will respond to them en-masse when i can be online at home again this evening.

Gotta go feed the baby now he' woken up
