We know she would update us if she had time so my guess is that Mr Big has landed her with lots of homework & if she is going to get the business going she has to knuckle down & do it rather than spending time chatting to us idle folk.
So ....patience I suppose.:(

Well we have a green light again so fingers crossed an update will be winging it's way to us all fairly soon and MG's not just teasing us all

Hi all, excuse me while I delurk...
While we are waiting for Miss MG to make her report I have something to share.
I saw this thread recommended elsewhere (thanks Souk!) and started reading over the weekend. I loved all the ideas and positivity and group spirit but as I kept reading I thought- well this is not for me…I am not a go-getter, I am not going to start my own business, I am not a professional anything and probably never will be.:o
Now over the last few years I have been less Ziggles Express more Ziggles Brokendown and rusting but there has been an awakening over the last few months- not sure what I’m awakening to but life is better, I am beginning to live again and my spiritual life have gone forward in leaps and bounds.:)
Now to Mind maps…I thought nah not really for me but I learnt them while at school for studying etc. I know how to use them but they are not my study/planning method of choice.
Today I just read an article on BBC about sadness and they gave the definition of ‘anomie’ and the word that struck me the most was purpose. I lost my very underdeveloped sense of purpose years ago and now I need it back because I have just had that LBM that has brought to the fore the fact that I don’t have a purpose!
So guess what- Mind mapping. I AM MINDMAPPING! :j:jWho knew it would be so easy to get a POA in like 5 minutes on a scrap of paper! And the feeling of achievement and hope! I cannot describe it.:T
So thanks MG and the rest of you who are on the same journey- I can only imagine how many other lurkers are gaining benefits even just from lurking. So thank you and keep it up everyone!:TBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -

I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet guys – but apparently due to “environmental factors” my orange dongle has decided not to play. keeps letting me log-on then throws me off just as i try to post, then i have to shut th elaptop down and start all over again - AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
Apparently these environmental factors consist of – wait for it – the rain!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! It’s Scotland – it rains here a lot.
So I’m sitting here fairly damp in the library and ready to do a quick catch –up – and crossing my fingers that the broadband I’m having installed happens tomorrow as planned because it’s a bit like having a limb cut off at the moment.
So I appeared nice and prompt for my appointment with Mr big. Three of us – me and two guys in suits were taken aside by Mr B’s PA and she explained that each of us would be given an hour in front of Mr B and his business associates and that after this time they would make the decision as to which people they would be inviting to join their mastermind mentoring programme. Afterwards we could all stay and have tea with Mr B and he would explain his decisions. Wow!! Long sentences – lol.
I was selected to go in the middle hour – which was cool by me because the hotel is one I used to attend business networking events at yonks ago and I spent the time catching up with some of the staff.
At ten minutes before “my time” I refresh my make-up and make my way back over to the business suite, just in time to see the guy before me leave in tears, grab his coat and high-tail it out of the hotel. Felt a bit like I was about to be thrown to the lions at that point (I think a few weeks ago I might have grabbed my coat and followed him).
So I get in and he’s there with 4 other business bods and his PA. He introduces me to the panel and explains that his PA had come across my thread on the site and that I had come to the challenges fairly late, but that he felt I had an unusual and compelling business case to state, and that I would first deliver my keynote and then take questions form the panel.
So I took a deep, deep breath and launched into my killer keynote – teaching them how to memorise a pack of cards and using that to illustrate that even though you have to play the hand that you are dealt – you can still succeed by playing to your strengths and that even when the odds looked stacked against you that you can turn it around to provide you with a winning hand.
Lots of running about (in heels) lots of high energy, loads of jokes and humour – and they were stunned rigid when they discovered in the closing section that they could actually remember the whole deck – took them about 4.5 minutes to recall using my new strategy – yipeee!!!!!!!
And I actually got a standing ovation from them at the end – which was truly surreal from half a dozen people in a huge conference ballroom.
Then I got the grilling of my life – not just about building this business, but about my home situation, the practicalities of working and loads of “what if?” scenarios. Thankfully I am pretty good at thinking on my feet – and I think I did OK. Well there were no awkward silences and they were doing loads of nodding.
They all shook my hand on the way out – and Mr B gave me a huge kiss on the cheek. So I floated out of the door and back to my coat as the third guy got his stuff to go in with. Mr B’s PA then came out and asked if I would wait for them in the bar, where she had ordered a pot of coffee.
So I headed to the bar and had a fab cup of coffee. The bar manager then brought me over a “Tenny-tiny honest” French martini – he thought I needed it and remembered my favourite tipple from and awards do a couple of years ago.
Nothing to do – but wait for the third guy to finish.
