Hi Memory Girl! I've been working my way through your diary for the past few days and all the people that say it's inspirational are definitely right. My husband is doing an OU degree at the moment and I'd love one of your books if you'd like to PM me your PayPal email address.0

Hi Memory Girl
I too have spent the last few days trawling through your diary. What a fantastic read! It is so inspirational. I am now planning my own personal 100 day challenge starting on 1st Sep to take me through to 7th Dec (need to double check these dates!).
This should really help me get a few plans into action that I have been considering for a while and get me organised for the dreaded 25th Dec I have left too much until the last minute the last few years and cannot do it again!
Good luck to you and your boys0 -

well where i got too is - i am hanging on to the safety of benefits and that is holding me back from going out and developping something wonderful. The universe has just sent me a message loud and clear that the "safety" of benefits is anything but. so step up, step out young lady and go and provide for your children.

jump on in mummyem and have a splash around.
good luck on your own personal 100 day challenge - its amazing what we have all acheived by focussing intently on what we truly desire - so many great stories are going to be told over cups of virtual tea atthe end of our 100 days.
As for christmas - AAAAAarrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! i know i know - time to start getting organised - but apart from a pair of fingerless gloves i've knitted and some pickles i am not very far ahead yet.
Have agreat day

you are so right savingholmes - although as someone pointed out on their PM
"God helps those who help themselves" = and they are buying a book because
1. they want to help themselves :rotfl:
2. they want to help me too
because
3. They see that i'm willing to go and do stuff to get out of this situation instead of waiting for someone to do it for me.
i kinda like that - makes me feel we are all pulling together to achieve things bigger than our own problems.

Quick update
i have a pile of books
and a pile of envelopes
and a pile of.................... I'm not going to tell you but theres a little personal something tucked inside your books:D
today i will contact everyone who has asked to get their addresses - and to check whether they would prefer the students version (or people who need to learn quicker) or the working persons version (for those who need to study and work at the same time)
The good news is that postage is only £1.11 so i will be able to get everyones copy out this week.
THE EVEN BETTER NEWS - WELL FOR ME ANYWAYS
i have been up most of the night because inspiration struck and i now have a pretty fleshed out version of MY KILLER KEYNOTE:j:j
This is the one hour motivational address that will form my calling card moving forward as a speaker. Now obviously it needs a lot of refining at this stage - but its looking pretty good from here:D
My goodness, it feels like this is really moving forward.
today I will take a realistic look at my financials and figure out when the best time to step in to self-employment will be without plunging us further into penury of course.
i think i've found my IT!!!!!!!!!!
off to take the kids to school
Back later
