WARNING Electrolux Melton Technical Services

Hi all just a warning to all who consider paying debit card over the phone and especially with Electrolux Melton Technical Services.
Our washing machine broke down so we contacted the manufacturers Electrolux. They sent out a repair main from their repair service Melton Technical Services.
My OH left me £100 for any repairs, but the man said it needed a new pump and the total would be £126.
My partner had to call up and pay the remainder over the phone so the repairs could be made. On Thursday he noticed they had taken £1200 from his account, he called up and they said they would make the refund and it was a typing error (how £1200 looks anything like £26 I do not know)
We still haven't had the refund and they state it takes 3 working days. I have two different bank accounts with different banks and these days transfers are instantaneous.
We have direct debits coming out today and we have called the bank and they say it is too late and they will bounce.
This company will not take responsibility for this massive mistake and should have done whatever it takes to get OUR MONEY back into our account ASAP.
Fuming  can we go to trading standards about this and complain?
A lesson to us all not to pay over the phone with our Credit Cards or Debit Cards
