How much would you expect an independent damp report to cost?

Hi Bella,
Each surveyor has their own rates and each property is different such that firm prices cannot be given across the board but £80 for clients that simply want to meet on site and take their own notes of conclusions drawn / budget costs and £170 for an in depth hard copy report with drawings photographs etc plus travelling in both cases would in my experience be more of an appropriate rate for the size of property you indicate.
