BT to another account holder

Options
Cant seem to find anything on the actual CC websites but is it possible to balance transfer from 2 credit cards of one persons, to a new CC of another.

The person with the debt has a very weak Credit rating (defaults on CC payments) is it possible that as i am more likely to be accepted i can treansfer their outstanding amount to my CC and get the 0% BT on the GE card? (or even post office etc)

Yes, it is possible to BT from one account holder to another, so long as the person accepting the debt gives permission. Also, you are legally accepting responsibility for the debt.

    hmmm.. cheers.

BTW i should have quite a good Credit score haven't defaulted in about 5+ years. always pay off CC end of the month on the Electoral roll and have had numourous bills under my name as i have just graduated the only problem is I dont have a proper job.

I have 3 CC, one i got with my student account, another student barclaycard and i got an amex when i was on work placement for a year 2 years ago.

At the moment im temping, so my wage fluctuates (this is causing a headache for my application for WTC and CTC) what wage should i give? £8 hr one week £9 another then £0 now £8 + bonus £1 for every hour once contract is finished.

also the working week changes so it is not a case of multiplying by 37.5 then 52.

I have done this (3 ccs to pay off a whacking huge one for someone else). You do take responsibility for the debt, so you need to trust this person very much! ;)
