Anyone know if any of the banks or building societies dispense English notes from their ATMs in Scotland?

Why?
Are you musing in general, or do you want English notes for a particular reason?0 -
The Natwest ones often seem to be loaded with English notes, at least around here, but I doubt you could definitely count on it.0

The barclays machine (on the side of the travelex) in Glasgow Airport used to only dispense English notes, however, the whole complex has changed now ... so this isn't really a very helpful post! Try going into a bank and asking for some.0

The ATMs at Glasgow Airport have always dispensed English notes to me (not that I'm bothered - I love the confused looks on shopkeepers' faces in London when I present a crisp Scottish tenner!)0
